Dr Janice Lee joined our practice in November 2024.

Born in Malaysia, Janice is Malaysian Chinese. She is multilingual and is comfortable to consult in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Janice trained at University of Auckland and graduated in 2012.

She has worked in all 4 major hospitals in Auckland with various level of experience in Psychiatry, Medical Subspecialties (eg Renal, Oncology, Endocrinology), General Surgery and especially more experience in General Medicine as medical registrar.

Since becoming a GP, Janice enjoys getting to know her patients and their family well, building trust and being the specialist of their overall health. She believes that good healthcare should be patient-centred, with good clinical decisions made collaboratively with patients, based on their values.

Janice has great interest in chronic disease care and women’s health with competency in Mirena/Jaydess insertion. She is also a part-time clinical editor for Auckland Region Health Pathways, working collaboratively with hospital clinicians to develop guidelines for primary care.

Janice is married with two children who keep her busy outside work. Her other passions include travelling, pilates and aerobics classes.
